people are working longer hours, have more leisure interests, don’t
have the time or energy to do basic jobs around the house or garden
- but find it hard to get hold of a local handyman.
This is why 
has been launched in the Scarborough area - to do the jobs its
customers can’t, for highly reasonable prices.
“There is a shortage of handymen who are able to do a basic
job,” says proprietor Alan Storry, “so quite often
these jobs just don’t get done.”
Set up in 2003,
has a team of multi-skilled handymen and women who can do literally
dozens of jobs, from assembling flat-pack furniture and pressure-washing
patios to replacing glass windows and basic plumbing and electrical
works.
“They can do a number of jobs whilst they are there,”
Alan continues, “so for example they can fix a tap, then
put up a shelf and mow the lawn."
“Jobs that have piled up for months can all be done the
same day - as we always send out the right person with the right
skills.”
